1) Our Homework Rubric for Trimester 1 - a pdf printable version of what we sent home. We recommend you become familiar with this so that there are no surprises on the report cards.
2) Decoding Strategies in Reading and Thinking Strategies in Reading - pdf printable versions. We will be expected to use them as well as identify and name them :) May we suggest you practice using them at home too?
 
3) The 6 Traits of Writing - which is a great website that tells you about what we expect to see in children's writing as it continues to develop.

4) Our Spelling List of Frequently Used Words - a pdf printable version. The children are expected to know how to spell 30 specific words per trimester. These words are ones that are frequently used at this grade level. Use this list to help you support your child's learning at home.
