The 1H kids had a great time making recycled paper as a part of their Envirnmental unit. We learned about reducing, reusing and recycling. This is a great way to recycle paper that has been used on both sides. The paper we made was beautiful and we turned it into special Mothers' Day cards.
First we shredded paper.
Then we added water and let it soak to make pulp.
We added flower petals that we had collected in the playground...
And blended it well.
We caught the pulp on a screen and turned it out onto a cloth. Thank you for helping us Ms. Sara!
