A HUGE thank you to all of the parents that participated and helped to make our winter party so fun! It was awesome to see and hear about all of the different traditions that each of our families celebrate at this time of year. Enjoy browsing at the photos below and seeing the children enjoying just a few of these traditions - unfortunately we do not have pictures of all of them!

Ms. Melanie and the parents took us on a tour of winter traditions around the world! In Ireland you might pop crackers at Christmas time.
In the United Kingdom some people count the days until Christmas using an Advent calendar. In Denmark some people put cloves in oranges - wow, they smell good!
In Denmark people sing and dance around the Christmas tree. In Italy people make this delicious cake!
In Lebanon a Yule Tide Log is common. In India people make beautiful sand drawings for Diwali.
In Columbia people write letters to Baby Jesus at Christmas time. In Canada people drink hot chocolate after playing in the snow.
