During our holiday party, each family shared a special tradition or custom that is either cultural or just a special family tradition.


The Abou Shakras shared the traditions of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Samuels shared their family tradition of putting chocolate in a handkerchief for each child in the family and putting them under the Christmas tree.
The Collins shared their tradition of reading Christmas stories on Christmas eve. The Sauers shared the Advent Calendar.
The Buzbees shared their tradition of baking Christmas cookies. The Campbells bake Mini Haha cookies on Christmas eve.
The Sanhuezas fill stockings with candy and hang them on the Christmas tree. The Rizottis make gingerbread houses.
The Ditmores decorate the Christmas tree on Christmas eve. The Wilsons read The Night Before Christmas on Christmas eve and bake cookies for Santa.
The Parks celebrate Christmas with a big turkey dinner. The Kims celebrate the Korean holiday by wearing beautiful, colorful clothes.
The Willsons make good wishes before they chop down a Christmas tree to take home. The Lammis celebrate family time by bicycling.
The Mizunos celebrate their Japanese holiday with origami. 1L kids have fun with origami.
