Cairo American College is an international, independent day school dedicated to preparing pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students to succeed in schools and universities of their choice. We currently rely primarily on tuition revenue to fund our strong academics, superb co-curricular activities and campus development.

Our mission is to ensure that each student achieves his or her educational and personal potential in a safe environment. We challenge all students to envision new possibilities, empower them to achieve their aspirations, and inspire them to serve a global community and contribute to a sustainable future. To honor our mission, CAC seeks additional funds through grants, sponsorships and alumni who wish to be involved in the CAC community.

At CAC we believe that the well-being of the community depends upon the peaceful actions and contributions of every member, from students, teachers, alumni and neighbors. While we engage students in a variety of meaningful activities, volunteer projects and service learning, we foster the philosophy that CAC and its students are a part of Egypt rather than apart from it. We encourage our alumni to participate in this philosophy throughout their lives as former CAC students, with their continued involvement and contribution to the CAC community.

The CAC campus serves as a vibrant center for its neighborhood. By hosting a wide range of events, CAC has come to be viewed as more than just an educational institution — it is an integral part of its host community in the Cairo suburb of Maadi.
