In addition to providing students from a wide spectrum of national and ethnic backgrounds with a world-class education, CAC serves as a vibrant center for its neighborhood. By hosting a wide range of events, CAC has come to be viewed as more than just an educational institution — it is an integral part of its host community in the Cairo suburb of Maadi.
On May 5, 2008, a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new Elementary School took place, with students, faculty, staff and community members on hand to mark the occasion. Since then construction has been carried out in a remarkably smooth manner with a focus on educational continuity for students.
