I am Ingrid Ferguson from Trinidad & Tobago in the West Indies and I have been teaching PE for over 18 years. Prior to joining CAC in August 2008, my husband and I taught in Indonesia for 7 years and Trinidad before that. I teach KG through Grade 5 PE and Swimming, coach Age Group Swimming and this year, assist with Varsity Girls' Volleyball. When I am not at school, I spend as much time as I can with my two young daughters. |

I am Lamyaa Wanky (Miss Starfish in Swimming class) and I am half Sudanese and half Egyptian. For the past 12 years I have been a preK and Kindergarten teacher, most recently at Montessori International Pre-School. I hold a BA in early childhood education and recently earned my montessori diploma from MEPI. I have 2 1/2 year old daughter named Judy who enjoys her time as a pre schooler. |

My name is Ronna Zigmand and I've been teaching elementary physical education internationally for the past 17 years in many different countries. My husband Karl teaches in the middle school physical education department and we have two children: Kyle going into grade 8 and Ava going into grade 6. We look forward to living and working in Egypt and interacting with the CAC community. |

The Elementary PE and Swimming teachers administer the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program during 2 sessions - Fall and Spring for approximately 6 weeks each. The Aquatics Director Sayed Hassan (Mr Shark), Assistant Aquatics Director Char Webb (Mrs Turtle), and Mahmoud Abdel Ghany (Mr. Dolphin) are full-time swimming instructors for the whole of CAC, while Ahmed Hussein (Super Turtle) assists with the Kindergarten swimming classes. The Elementary PE teachers -Ingrid Ferguson (Mrs Seal), Ronna Zigmand (Mrs Mermaid) and Lamyaa Wanky (Miss Starfish) round out the remainder of the Elementary Swimming Teaching Team.
