PHILOSOPHY
The Egypt Culture program at CAC is committed to the special task
of promoting awareness of the Egyptian culture amongst the diverse
student body within the context of an American Education.
It is an aim of the Egypt Culture program to provide learning opportunities
about Egypt for faculty and parents in order to create a vehicle
of understanding and appreciation of Egypt within the CAC community.
The Egypt Culture curriculum is designed in a spiraling form to acquaint
students with the different phases of Egyptian social history through
project oriented, hands on continuously assessing curriculum which
enables students to understand present day Egypt and to appreciate
its culture in the context of their own. Egypt culture is required
for students, grades KG to 6, and is offered as an elective for grades
7 to 12.
