Arno's Sculpture

This self portrait of our self made in clay was a very hard project and had many steps. The first step was to make a big round cone. Soon we started sculpting out of it step by step. We used mirrors to sculpt our nose eyes hair mouth and chin.

This was a very hard and long term project. Finally the last step was to make a hole in the bottom and slip it and make it smooth so it would stick together as a normal and beautiful self portrait of mine.

My final look at this project told me that I was capable of making probably the hardest project in this sculpture semester class. Even though it didn't come out to good like me, I'm proud of my self.

This project of recycling showed me that I had a lot of time at home to plan it out. Which means that I am capable of long and important big projects.

In this project you needed planning ahead, if you didn't plan ahead than you would have to start from scrap and have a hard time to plan out and do a quick job for this project. This work tells me that I did good, and that I am talented at starting recycled pieces to making a nice quad as shown in this picture with myself.
