REFLECTION
In my sculpture class, I have produced two products using clay and recycling different materials. This is my first year in sculpture but I have already learned a lot by using the different materials provided for me. The work for my self-portrait shows not truly how I might look or see myself but how physically imaging have different outcomes from ones imagination. The work taught me how to experiment with clay and become more open to criticism. Different people helped me create or shape the outcome of my sculpture but mainly Mr. G. Doing the project I had to I had to transfer my ideas and thoughts on how I wanted my sculpture from my face to the clay. I had to experiment with different techniques, mainly using the "push and pull". A goal I have if I where to work on something similar I would concentrate more on my proportions and the details.

The work for my recycled figure shows creativity and the ability to create a piece of art with trash. I have never done a project like this but it was interesting to see what people and I came up with. During this project I learned to widen my horizon on the way to put a somewhat complex creation together using many different materials. Such as a plastic bottle, a miniature car, glass, and wire. Creativity and problem solving where things that I learned to use more in art, which I haven't used much before.
