Scrap-Art Project

The making of this piece was a lot of fun. It was tough to find the pieces needed to make the project, considering we could only use scrap. I used hot glue to hold most of my piece together, which wasn't such a good idea. Recently I strolled past my piece in the library to find the propeller knocked off, and my alien inside broken.   It's a disappointment, but nothing that can't be fixed.

Moose Mug

This is my favorite piece by far. The moose is my favorite animal and was a joy to make. My antler broke off after it was fired, but a little glue goes along way. The paint used on my antler left an interesting texture. I am proud of this piece and can't wait to take it home and drink from it.

Self-Portrait Project

The Self-Portrait was a challenging project with an interesting turn out. I wasn't satisfied with my head. I don't feel it looks like me in any way; nor reflect my emotions. I learnt a lot through the process of this piece. I learned how to hollow a figure along with sculpting the basics of a human head. If I make a head again, I want to make sure the facial features are more realistic, and smooth.
