2008-2009

The Hunt For Mr.Watermelon


The day began with KGD taking Mr. Watermelon to the Nurse so he could be weighed and measured.

it weighed 5.8 pounds and was 25 inches.
Suddenly, Miss Ereeny came running out of the classroom;
"Have you seen Mr. Watermelon I can't find him anywhere?" She said.
“ I went to put it in the classroom and it flipped and rolled over away, and I couldn’t get him!”
The kids were angry! And worried and they started …
“How did he run from you?”
“I am going to tell Mrs. Watermelon!!”
“You should’ve hold tighter “

“ Is it a joke?”
Some of the kids were running so other kids shouted at them
“Don’t run or you’ll step on him!!”

 

We found a clue that took us to the library , we asked Mrs. Nour but she said she didn’t see him anywhere.we kept looking and we found a clue that took us to the nurse that said that Mr. watermelon didn’t go there either , but we found a clue that took us to the lunchroom ..

We looked everywhere and we found a clue that lead us to Mr.Marriott’s office!!
KGD so worried: “have you seen Mr.watermelon??We can’t find him anywhere”
Mr. Marriot:”well, actually I have seen him , and put him in my fridge , and it ran over my lunch!!, but then it opened the fridge and ran out”
KGD so enthusiastic :”we’ll go and find him”
So we thought he might have went back to our classroom , and we found him there !!!
Mrs.Dolly asked KGD what do you want to tell

Mr.watermelon??
“Don’t ever do that again”

“We didn’t find you anywhere”
“Naughty”
‘Don’t play tricks ever again”
‘I wanna cut him in half then teeny tiny pieces”
“Don’t run away again”
“If you run away again we will eat you up”
“We couldn’t find you for hours!”
p.s the whole hunt took 20 min.!!

"I want to be a mommy", another girl was so

surprised and corrected her colleague!!

"Well, you have to die first to be a MUMMY!!!"

Student: yes, but if we're studying the letter T ,

Teacher: "ok!! KGD I'll see you tomorrow.."

One of the kids yelled to save Mrs.Dolly:

"NO!!! DON'T come to school tomorrow ,

it's a weekend. "

escape eating, a kid came running to me with

her hand on her head complaining that she has

 

"THE WORSE HEADACHE EVER!!!"

THE HUNT FOR

MR. WATERMELON

The day began with KGD taking Mr. Watermelon to the Nurse so he could be weighed and measured... Suddenly, Miss Ereeny came running out of the classroom;

"Have you seen Mr. Watermelon I can't find him anywhere?" She said.

And All the kids answered

" WHAT!!!!???

And Their responses were:

-"HOW COULD YOU LET HIM

FALL OUT OF YOUR HANDS! "

-"Maybe he is scared because he

knows we are going eat him! "

-"Maybe he went to the Library to

read a book; it is the Year of the Reader! "

-"Look! He left clues..."

( see water stains on the floor)

-"He is SO naughty! He did not listen to the rules! "

-"Maybe he went to the nurse

because he fell down the stairs

outside the ES Office! "

-"Maybe his Mom came to get him!"

-"Maybe he went to the beach! "

-"Is Mr. Watermelon for real Miss Ereeny?"

(After this hunt ...)

-"Now, I think he is for real! "

-A boy came angry to me and he said:

" Miss Ereeny, she is telling me I'm cute",

so I asked him,what was wrong in saying that you 're cute ,

he replied angrily , "I am 6 now I can't be cute anymore"

-On his birthday a boy was wearing a very elegant suit ,

on seeing him another boy told him ,

"Are you going to stop coming to school now

and will start going to the office !!"

also another girl added that he was dressed like a dad!!
