Softball is a popular sport in cac.Two teams play in one game. When one team is fielding the other team is batting, if you catch the ball when your team is fielding throw it to the baseman that the runner is running to. When you team is batting all you have to do is swing at the ball with the bat and try to hit it, if you hit the ball run as fast as you can to first base and then to second and third and home plate if you can, but do it without getting out. The pitches are underhand so it is easier. Softball is really fun, we practice four times a week, with coach Tennis, and coach Knudson. And if you are really good you get to travel with the team to compete in different countries. Coach says “I think we have a pretty good team this year, we have a chance of winning.”   

Le Softball est un sport très populaire à CAC. Il y a deux équipes. Les frappeurs forment une équipe et les preneurs forment une autre équipe. Quand tu attrapes la balle, tu la relances à un autre joueur qui court. Quand c’est au tour de ton équipe de battre la balle, tu dois la taper. Pour J.V softball (filles) tu dois battre d’en dessous, et comme ça, c’est plus facile. De toute façon, quand tu frappes la balle, tu cours à la première base, puis à la seconde. Ensuite la troisième base est enfin au marbre (home plate). Tu cours jusqu’à la base et tu essayes d’arriver avant que la balle te touche . Les entraîneurs sont Monsieur Tennis et Monsieur Knudsen. Le softball est pratiqué quatre fois par semaine.

En CAC softball es un deporte muy popular. Dos equipos juegan en un juego. Cuando un equipo batea mientras el otro recibe. Cuando tu equipo esta recibiendo, si agaras la pelota, debes tirarla a la persona que está en la base. Cuando tu equipo esta bateando solamente tienes que pegar la pelota con el bate y correr al primer base depuse el segundo y tercero ect…para el Jv softbol de ninas en mas facil porque los lanzamientos se tiran de abajo. Cuando estas corriendo prueba llegar al base antes que la persona agar la pelota.Los  entrenadores son el señor Knudson y el señor Tennis. Practicamos cuatro veces a la semana, pero es muy divertido. Si es muy bien en softbol puedes viajar con el equipo a otros ciudades para competir.
