One of the mast beloved sports is swimming. At CAC we have a year round swim program called age group swim team. (The winter season is called Softies). There is also Junior Varsity (JV), and Varsity swim team.

 JV and Varsity teams train November to March. Every year about 30 students make the team.  Practices go from 3:15 to 5:15 every day but Tuesday, and  on Saturdays from 9:00am-11:00am for Varsity. Some days on Monday morning there is practice. Usually from 5:30-7:30. JV swimmers can join too.

For JV and Varsity there are two swim meat held each season. Both meets are traveling out of school unless held in Cairo at CAC. The main event is call ISST.
