Crime Report

 The Following elements must all be on your final "Crime Report" This must be typed and stapled with a cover page.
 I State the problem/crime in your own words. (Be as concise and thourgh as possible)
a.) What was the crime?
b.) What is your solution?
II Background information must be summarized for your suspect. This information must include:
a.) What the suspect said they used the evidence for
b.) What other information causes suspect to look guilty
III Accusation Statement, this has 2 parts:
a.) I accuse.........because.......
b.) If / Then statement (example: If this test and that tests gives these results / Then the suspect becomes the prime suspect)
IV Procedure must have 2 parts
a.) Summarize how your tests should give you the evidence to show the suspect is guilty
b.) Numbered step-by-step of the proceedure you will follow for each type of test you make.

V Data/Results Here you write your qualitative and quantative observations. This includes andy data tables and graphs needed plus the following must be included in this section:

  • a copy of the chromographs you tested
  • cut-out and glue a copy of the suspects fingerprints and the evidence that they match.
  •  VI Summary/Conclusion, here you must summarize how your evidence indicates that the suspect you accused is guilty. (see summary example)

  • If your accusation is incorrect, you must state that and explain what your next step is now to solve this crime.
  • If your suspect is not guilty but they are hiding somethink like incorrect labels, you must state that
