Objectives

 

In 2007 Cairo American College identified three objective areas for improved student performance. Between the years of 2007 and 2014, the school is working to enhance student performance in the following objectives:

  • Service, Citizenship & Sustainability
  • Math
  • Writing

A variety of assessments are used to measure student growth in the objectives. Some measures are: Internally developed common math assessments, Six Trait Writing Assessment, SAT 1, International Baccalaureate Examinations, attitudinal surveys. Most of these assessments and measurements generate data on an annual basis. Progress on these student performance objectives will be reviewed annually by the Strategic Plan Review Committee.

Action plans connected to each objective area are currently in effect and evolve in response to analyses on the data collected in each of the objective areas. These plans are designed to support the three objectives identified above.
