Strategy 1:  Learning and Teaching
To provide thoughtful and inspiring curriculum and instruction

  1. Maintain a systematic curricular program review cycle that supports vertical program alignment.
  2. Enhance cross-curricular learning.
  3. Promote an environment where individual student differences are valued.
  4. Monitor progress of the academic student performance objectives for Accreditation for Growth (AFG).
  5. Provide professional development opportunities aligned with school improvement initiatives.

 

Strategy 2:  Communication
To describe and support the CAC Mission and programs through effective communication

  1. Monitor the type and scope of the current CAC communication tools and respond to perceived gaps or overlaps by revising or creating communication tools.
  2. Conduct regular reviews of the established protocols to ensure a professional appearance in the CAC communication tools.

 

Strategy 3:  Technology and Information Literacy
To seamlessly integrate technology and information literacy into all areas of learning

  1. Utilize appropriate and current technology to support 21st century skills with students.
  2. Expand professional development and ICT (Information and Communications Technology) programs to faculty and staff.

Strategy 4:  Service and Citizenship
To instill in students an ethic of service and responsible citizenship, empowering them to make positive contributions to their community and to a sustainable future for the earth.

  1. Monitor progress on the student performance objective related to sustainability for Accreditation for Growth (AFG).
  2. Systematically review and enhance student participation on decision making committees.
  3. Focus on Green Team Priorities 

 

Strategy 5:  Facilities and Finance
To provide the financial support and physical facilities essential to achieving the CAC Mission

  1. Develop a short-term plan to maintain and improve current facilities making them conducive to enhancing the learning environment.
  2. Develop a long-term plan that anticipates 5 years of facilities maintenance and improvement.
    Implement effective fiscal discipline into yearly and multi-year plans.
  3. Study the feasibility of increasing the sources of revenue for CAC.
