A 10-foot diameter ProDome made by Technical Innovations, Inc. is scheduled to be built on the roof of the school's technology building in November, 2000. Along with the dome will be two movable light screens, a small classroom and a storage area for equipment. The main dome will house the large 10-inch LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope while the storage area will supply ready access to both the ETX-90 used for planetary viewing and a Celestron 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope primarily used for solar observing.
