Board News
Dear CAC Community, The Board has received disappointing news from our Superintendent Monica Greeley that her future plans, beyond next year, will take her away from us. CAC must consider how fortunate it has been to have enjoyed Monica's exceptional leadership for the past four years. When Monica first came aboard in 2004, enrollments were in decline, we had a budget deficit, and we were unclear of CAC's future. Thanks to Monica's strong and wise leadership, CAC is now embarking on an ambitious development project with a prudent plan in place to finance it and a successful nascent development campaign. Our budget has been consistently balanced since Monica's arrival. The school has more students applying than we can take. As we say 'thank you' to Monica, we must add that we look forward to her continued leadership next year. To address CAC's future leadership needs, an Ad Hoc Superintendent Search Committee has been formed with the following representative membership:
It is the Board’s intention to keep the community in the loop throughout the search process. Search news updates will be communicated through divisional newsletters. As the Board bids farewell to two Community Representatives, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Barbara Jones and Paul Donohue for their dedicated service and valuable contributions throughout their two year tenure. On behalf of the CAC community, I would like to wish them and their families every success in their future plans. On behalf of the Board, I would like to wish you, the CAC Community, a restful vacation and an exciting summer and thank you for your support throughout the year. Sincerely,
Nivine Captan-Amr
