What’s Shaking @ Your CAC Libraries New Books Your CAC libraries would like to welcome everyone in our CAC community back to a new year. We received a huge new shipment over the summer, and the MHS library alone is adding over 1,100 new books and DVD’s, so please drop by and check them out. We hope you will come see us often this year to take advantage of our collection of great books and movies! DVD Checkout Yes, you read correctly: books and movies. The ES library has always offered its young patrons access to its terrific collection of DVD’s, and now for the first time, the MHS Library has opened up our collection of DVD’s for check out by students, teachers, and associate members. (One item per patron and a one-week check out.) We hope this will give you an added incentive to come in and experience what we feel is the best English language collection in Cairo. Adult Book Club Also new this year, we will offer instruction on how both parents and students can access and use our incredible collection of online subscription databases and electronic resources and we’ll look to build our CAC “culture of literacy” by sponsoring a monthly book club for parents and associate members – and students can come, too! Look for the announcements in the divisional newsletters. These are just a few of the plans we have in the works. Come by and check us out! Beau Cain
