In 1999 the proceeds went to establish a library in Al Fustat. In 2000 it went to rebuild the staircase of a foster house. In 2001, it was sent to the Sudanese School.

Since 2002 the proceeds of the 3rd grade bake sales went to the baby wash program. This is a project in which moms train simple village women the basic rules of health and hygiene  for their babies. The money is used to buy soap, towels, diapers and simple baby clothing.
