2003-2004 Projects
Provision Boxes & Ramadan Iftars
For the 9th year in a row, Fifth grade students have sponsored two Ramadan project. The students raise more than 11.000 LE. This sum of money was raised through a " readathon". Parents, family, friends and neighbors sponsor the read pages. Children also run errands and chores and house work for their parents.

The first project prepares provision boxes for the CAC custodians, drivers and all general services team. 5th graders packed 150 boxes. for this project they go to a cooperative society that sells provisions for cheaper prices, and whole sale shop.

The second project is to cook an Iftar (the meal with which Muslims break their fast during the fasting month of Ramadan) for all the school workers who are on duty during Iftar time. This year the event had turned into a festival. All fifth grade classes participated. Two Iftars were served. For the first Iftar fifth graders hosted 80 members of the community (workers, students, teachers, parents, and administrators). For the second Iftar 5th graders hosted 120 community members.
