In kindergarten the baby wash program supplements a unit on health and hygiene. Children make a list of important wash items for babies. They go out with teachers and parents to buy them from nearby stores. They sort out the items and send them to a village near by Cairo where parents teach young mothers how to take care of their newly born babies.
