Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)
MAP is a computer-based, standardized test that the Cairo American College Elementary School uses to monitor students’ academic progress. MAP is currently used in grades three through five at the elementary school. All students in those grades will be asked to take MAP unless she/he is considered to be at the beginning level of learning the English language. Currently MAP testing is conducted two times per academic year in the fall and spring. Periodic notes in the Elementary Express will be posted to help inform parents of upcoming test dates, MAP workshops, and other information relating to MAP.
