Keyboarding:
Students use Type to Learn 3 for 6 weeks 5 days a week for 20 minutes with a goal of 15WPM.
Students have an account on Custom Typing Online which they can use to increase their skills at school or at home.
Login name is cac followed by their school login (cac15jsmith). Password is their school password.

The Rock Hound web site is used to gather information and then a PowerPoint is created by the students to present to others.
Topic: Human Body/Skeletons
The Interactive Body web site is great to help the students understand where bones, muscles, joints, organs, and the nervous system.
The Interactive Skeleton allows students to pull or move a joint and see the response.
The Big Story on Bones is full of information to interest any child.
FOSS website has great activities for students. Put Mr. Bones back together.
Disect an owl pellet and see if you can figure out where the bones go.

Students research Deserts and create a PowerPoint, Inspiration Web, or Document displaying the information they have learned.
