The CAC grade 8 will depart on Sunday for their tour of the White Desert. The following ininerary is approximate, as the class will divide into 6 groups and each group will operate seperatly from each other. The individual groups will not be in contact with each other during the entire trip.

Itinerary Groups E + F

DAY 1

  • Meet at 6:00 AM
  • Depart for White Desert
  • Pass through Biwiti approximatly 11:00 AM
  • Arrive at drop-off in White Desert Approximatly 12:30
  • Trekk to 1st camp site
  • Journal and activities time
  • Sunset in White Desert
  • Camp dinner

DAY 2

  • Break camp into groups E + F
  • Geologic structures/Bread loaves
  • Panoramic view of Western White Desert
  • Trek to camp 2 El Masrah
  • daily activities and journal time
  • evening activities
  


DAY 3

  • Break camp
  • Geologic structures/Bread loaves
  • Panoramic view of Western White Desert
  • Trek to camp 3 Hofra Eunice

DAY 4

  • Break camp 
  • Trek to pick up point
  • Drive to Biwiti
  • Lunch at hotel
  • Return to Cairo/CAC (Back Gate) arrive late afternoon ETA 5:00-7:00 PM
