Tortoise Data

There are 2 basic types of data kept by students for the Egyptian tortoises kept at Cairo American College.  The first are observational notes, concerning the behavior and health of the tortoises.  The second type of data kept are the measurements of mass and length.  The measurements are collected on a monthly basis and logged in the tortoise profiles maintained by the caretakers of each individual tortoise.  This last data type is collected and used to analyze the health of the tortoise.  The measurements are plotted on a chart similar to the one developed by Dr. Oliphant Jackson and are referred to as Jackson Ratio.   We are currently in the process of using the CAC data to develop a Similar Chart specifically related to the T. kleinimanni.
