This is my twelfth year of teaching English in a high school setting, and my fifth year at CAC. Prior to moving to Cairo in 2004, I taught in a suburb of Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. My teaching background includes teaching writing at the university level, as a graduate student and as an Adjunct Instructor at Portland State University. My cocurricular work includes being an IB examiner and co-coaching Varsity Academic Games.
