Description: This is a two-year
program for highly motivated students committed to serious study
in art. Students choose to develop one of three portfolios: Drawing,
2D Design or 3D Design. The portfolios share a basic, three-section
structure: (1) quality, (2) concentration, and (3) breadth. The
AP portfolio can be undertaken in Drawing and Painting, Photography**,
Printmaking, Sculpture or Ceramics. At the end of the two years
the portfolio is submitted to the College Board for assessment.

further information.
Credit: 1 per year
Length of course: 1 year
Prerequisites: Previous training in Art and Consent of Art
Department
*Due to high cost of some materials,
students will be required to provide/purchase sketchbooks/ materials/tools
at their own expense and also pay a studio fee.
**Photography students must provide their own 35mm SLR camera.
