Peace At CAC
Our Vision of Peace:
At CAC we recognize peace education as both philosophy and process. The philosophy will support a humane, ecologically sustainable, open-minded, learning environment. The process includes three levels: peace keeping, peace making and peace building and involves all members of the CAC community.
When peace education is implemented at CAC, peace will be in the foundation of what we do. Therefore, we will:
• Communicate and interact respectfully
• Seek peaceful solutions to conflict
• Engage in democratic, collaborative decision making
• Practice empathy, compassion and forgiveness
• Work to sustain our environment
