| passport! |
| non-disposable water bottle, get one from the school store if you don't have one. |
| Flash light, preferably head lamp |
| toilet paper and lighter |
| layers of clothes (not too many clothes!) (dress warm!) i.e. t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, light sweater, then a heavier sweater. You will probably not need a change of clothes for the 3 nights you are in the desert (maybe just a t-shirt and underoos), but you will want a change when you take a shower the 4th night. |

| small towel and soap (for last night) |
| sunscreen |
| pens |
| Sleeping Bag |
| Geocache, including container, pencil, logbook and a few items |
| 1 treat to share (i.e. cookies) |
