Fruity Crepe Faces
1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1-1/4 cups of milk
1 orange
4 strawberries
8 grapes
4 tablespoons reduced-sugar jam
2 tablespoons butter
Into a bowl put flours. Make a well in center, add the eggs and milk and beat to form a smooth batter.
Let batter stand while preparing fruit. Warm the pan to make your crepes, heat a 5-inch skillet over medium high heat. Melt a little butter in pan.
After finishing preparing the doe then reverse about 1/4 of a cup. Let cook for 30 to 45 secondes. Slide crepe onto a plate and keep warm while cooking remaining batter.
Don't forget to put on the fruits.
Makes about 8 crepes
Crispy Crackles
1/4 cup margarine or butter
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
4 ounces milk chocolate
3 cornflakes
In a medium-size saucepan, combine margarine or butter, corn syrup and chocolate. Place over low heat, then stirring, until chocolate melts.
Remove pan from heat, then stir in corn flakes, stirring until cornflakes are evenly coated.
Put 12 paper cupcakes cups into a muffin pan. Spoon in cornflakes mixture. Refrigerate until set.
Makes about 12.
