Drama I
|
Drama I is a first course in developmental
drama, rather than a course in theater. Drama I provides an environment
of trust in which
students can explore and develop the act of creating with the body and
voice. Students will expand their abilities in concentration, observation
and sense awareness, imagination, movement and voice, as well as develop
the skills associated with mime and improvisation. Drama I is grounded
in the principles of teamwork and students are constantly reminded of the
importance of “ensemble” when engaged in dramatic play. |
