Dear CAC Community, 

As we look forward to the last week of school prior to a well-deserved winter break, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the commitment, passion, and time you invest into making CAC special. We are delighted to share with you the long awaited news of the safe completion of the High School renovation project. The process of occupying the building has begun and we look forward to the educational opportunities that a new building will provide to our High School Students, Faculty, Staff and Administration. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude for the tireless work and endless hours exerted by the Board of Trustees, the Administration and Hassan Allam, working together as a team to bring this labor of love to completion. The School Board will be composed of a minimum of six (6) members and up to a maximum of twelve (12) members from the following categories:

    • Representatives of Organizations and Institutions;
    • Elected Representatives; and
    • Appointed Representatives

CAC Board Of Trustees

Randall BuddenJoined the Board in September 2019, as the Embassy Representative.  Mr. Budden is a senior foreign service officer 'Minister-Counselor for Management Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.  Prior to moving to Cairo, he was the Executive Director for the Bureau of Medical Services in Washington.

Mr. Budden and his wife Jennifer have one daughter Amelia attending High School.

Mr. Budden holds a Bachelor’s degree in international/global studies from the University of Michigan.  Through a 25 plus year career of varied domestic and overseas assignments, he worked to balance resources to advance mission goals, and provide optimum customer service to American employees and their families and is committed to developing and leading the mission’s locally employed staff to reach their highest potential.
