College Admissions News--Congrats Seniors!

Screen Shot 2016-12-01 at 9.08.55 AM.png‘Tis the season! College admissions news is gradually trickling in for CAC seniors, which means parents should start looking for signs of the dreaded ‘senioritis’ striking the admitted! Congratulations to the seniors listed below for their early admissions news. Most ED and EA decisions come out between Dec 15 and Dec 20, so the coming weeks might find seniors biting their nails, pulling their hair, and checking their email inboxes incessantly as they await university decisions. We look forward to celebrating CAC seniors’ successes with them in the coming months. In the meantime, congratulations to:

Perkins Eastman Architects Visit Campus

The CAC Trustees, performing their duty to ensure the future excellence of CAC, have hired Perkins Eastman Architects to conduct Concept Designs for Phase IV of our Campus Master plan. Perkins Eastman is one of the top architectural firms in the world that works with international schools. CAC’s Phase IV includes the athletic facilities, and will follow the completion of Phase III, the HS renovation. During three days of meetings, the architects met with students, parents, alumni, PE teachers, coaches, the CAC Administration, and the Board of Trustees to gather information about programs, as well as ‘hopes and dreams’ for CAC’s athletics facilities. Mr. Bailey, during the conversation with Administrators made the challenging and visionary statement: “CAC is the top school in Cairo and has been a top school in ISSTs for generations. Our Athletics facilities should set the bar for other schools.” The Architects will compile their data and bring back to campus in February as set of possible concepts for the Board to review for planning the next phase of CAC’s excellence.
