Eagle Eye 12-21-2017

We wish you all happy holidays and peace in the new year! Students wrapped up units and celebrated their learning this week. Middle School joined us for a House Team event Thursday. Students in PreK-Grade 8 rotated through activities, and had a great time together!

We had the joy of winter celebrations together in class or grade-level parties and students entertained us at the Winter Assembly. Santa Claus even made a special detour to CAC on his camel. He’d heard many of our students don’t have chimneys and wanted to be sure they had a chance to visit. Thank you to the many parents who helped out this week and throughout the year!

We will return to school on January 14. After-school activities will also resume that day. We wish those students and their families who are moving away from Egypt well. You’ll be missed! We will be welcoming several new students when we return, and know that you will all do your best to make them feel at home.

Happy Holidays from the Counseling Office!!!

There is so much going on this time of year that it can feel very hectic.  This short article will help to put things into perspective while reminding us of some great parenting strategies. We hope you have a wonderful, relaxing break.

The Day I Forgot How to Parent (And the Two Words that Brought Me Back)

From the ES Library

Happy Holidays!

We hope you spend your vacation surrounded with family and joy and lots of books!

The library will re-open on January 14, when school resumes. All books checked out for holiday reading are due January 14.

December Creativity with Ms. Wafaa

Where you and I might only see a paper cup, an empty soda pop bottle or a toilet paper roll, Ms. Wafaa, our crafty teaching assistant sees a Christmas tree, a house all lit up with candlelight, and a long bearded Santa!

After School Activities

After school activities will resume right after the winter break.

Share the schedule with your child

Thank you to all the parents who shared the schedules with their children, they came to school knowing what activities they had which helped them have a great day. It can help if students write their own weekly schedules on a piece of paper and stick them in their backpacks.

ASA Schedules are final now

If we have not contacted you by now, that means that no spots were opened up and your child’s ASA schedules will be set as is.

Excuse Form

If for any reason students cannot attend their ASA on a specific day, parents must submit this Form.

Gentlemen, don’t worry! We don’t expect you to dress up as a Pharaoh (unless you really want to!), but we promise you will have a fantastic time!
