Happy Holidays

Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season.  Whether staying in Egypt or traveling abroad, be safe and enjoy spending time with family and friends.  School resumes on January 8th, 2017.

Report Cards Online

Semester report cards will be available on SKYWARD at 4:00pm on January 19th.  SKYWARD gradebook access is closed during the break as grades are updated, and as we want students to enjoy a restful holiday break, rather than spending time looking at grade averages.

As an additional quick and easy method to experience the daily lives of our CAC high school students, feel-free to follow Dr. Harris’ twitter feed at https://twitter.com/CACHSupdates.  This is not meant to replace Moodle, or any other school communication method.

Boys' Basketball Update

CAC Boys' Basketball opened their seasons in strong fashion on Monday, Dec. 5, as the Varsity Boys beat MES in action here at CAC, and the JV won at MES.

The Varsity Boys beat MES 59-21. They were up 38-6 at halftime, and rested most of their starters in the second half as they cruised to victory. Hans Fofack led the way with 13 points, but more impressively, 11 varsity players scored in the win.

The CAC JV went to MES, and won 50-16. The JV used a balanced attack in the win, with at least 3 players scoring double digits.

Hope everybody enjoyed the PTO BOOK FAIR!
A big thank you to our organizers, Sarah Salmawy, Rana Harouny and Sandrine Kachour. Their dedication and hard work made the Book Fair possible.
We would also like to thank the Booster Club for the delicious treats.
We are grateful for the support of Soha Daghash and Farida Khamis, our main sponsors. Without the tents and carpets, the Book Fair would not have been as successful.

PTO Meetings

We need your help!

Not many parents attend our PTO meetings! The meetings currently take place on the firstTuesdayof every month at the PTO room on the second floor of the old admin building at1:30 pm.

In order to maximize parent participation in the PTO, we would like to know when is the most convenient time for most parents to attend. Please take the quick survey on our Facebook page and choose the option that suits you best.

Starting in January through the end of this school year, we plan to rotate the time of PTO monthly meetings between8am,1:30 pm and 6 pmto see if we can get more parents to attend. Parent turnout during the next semester will help us determine the best time for these meetings in the next school year.
