Week Without Walls
Week Without Walls (WWW) is an annual, one-week, experiential course for students, taking them out of the classroom and into new situations and new environments. The primary goal of the WWW program is to support the CAC mission, bringing learning experiences beyond the classroom walls.  The WWW program begins with our first international flights out of Cairo on October 5 and runs through October 13.
The Model United Nations (MUN) club provides a challenging and enriching forum for students to discuss current international issues and to view those issues from different perspectives. Members are chosen and trained in the spring semester and may have the opportunity to attend a conference prior to the end of that school year. Tryouts are held during the latter half of the Spring Semester for the following year. Additionally there is another tryout session at the start of the year for new students to CAC. The club meets every Tuesday evening from 5:15 - 7:00 pm to practice debate procedures, resolution writing and to learn about their assigned countries and issues.
We would like to invite you to visit CAC's 40th annual Model United Nations simulation, being held on campus from October 18 – 20.  http://www.cacmun.org
Student Information System and Gradebook
SKYWARD is the secured student information system used at CAC that also has a ‘Family Access’ portal for students and parents to view demographic and academic information.  The grade book section of Family Access will allow students and parents to view student progress each fortnight, starting at 3:15pm every other Thursday till Sunday at 4pm. Teachers are available to speak to students face to face about progress and academic performance.  Gradebook opening dates are: Sept 27; Oct 11, 25; Nov 8, 19; Dec 6.

Skyward Directory

Dear CAC Parents,

This year, due to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), we will no longer print and distribute a hard copy of the CAC Family Directory. We will, however, be making family contact information available through our Student Information System, Skyward. The Skyward directory has some great features: you can search for families by homeroom or by grade level. You can choose which contact information you wish to include and you can print your search results. However, each family which agrees, needs to “opt-in” to the directory; in other words, families need to verify that they would like to make their contact information available to other CAC families. If you choose not to opt-in, your contact details will not be listed in the Skyward directory.

To opt-in to the directory, please log into Skyward Family Access. Click here for instructions.

If you need any technical help with  Skyward’s Family Access the Technology department will be available to support you if you drop in to the Technology Center (ground floor of the Middle School Building) on Tuesday, September 25th between 8:00 a.m. and 10: 00 a.m., or between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Please understand that if you do choose to print the data to have it easily accessible at home, that it is confidential and should be destroyed when you no longer need it.

With kind regards,

Danya Amin

Director of Admissions/Registrar
