HS English Language Arts and ELL (part time 60%)

Our English LA curriculum is based on the AERO standards, and in Grades 11 & 12 we offer the IBDP English courses. The team works to ensure diverse and inclusive voices are represented through our text selections and task design, and embraces the Harkness methodology of discussion-based learning. The ELL program utilises WIDA testing to track student progress, and the course is designed in parallel to other subjects studied to help prepare intermediate / advanced ELL learners to access the demands of the full HS program. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the IB and American international school settings as well as experience with ELL teaching.
