The Wheels of The Bus Go Round and Round At CAC!

As young learners at school, students are usually taught the famous song "the wheels on the bus go round and round", but at CAC the bus is definitely more than wheels going round for its 220 elementary, middle, and high school passengers!

The motor pool system is a godsend for parents who don’t have the time or ability to drive their children to and from school every day of the week. Still, in spite of the convenience, some parents still have concerns regarding sending their children to school by bus. CAC school buses are not only one of the safest vehicles on the road, but provide an enriching experience for children of all ages as well. Below are some reasons why the school bus is the perfect way to get to school:

Students Learn Time Management Skills When Taking The Bus.

As children get older, it’s important that they learn how to stick to a schedule. The school bus is the perfect opportunity for them to do that. For most kids, their days are rigidly planned out by parents and teachers, which means there aren’t a lot of chances for them to practice managing their own schedules. Riding the school bus is a safe and low risk way for kids to learn how to manage their time and stick to a schedule.

The CAC bus is a good place to make new friends and build social skills.

We no longer live in the type of world where our kids run outside to play with their neighborhood friends. One of the benefits of riding the CAC school bus is that it provides a little bit of our childhood experience for our children. Since the bus is where other neighborhood kids who go to the same school all gather, it's a great opportunity for our children to get to know the other kids in the neighborhood. Those moments at the bus stop have even provided parents with the opportunity to get to know their neighbors who are part of the CAC community. It’s a chance to create bonds and have back a piece of that sense of community that we’re so lacking in our culture today.

"I go to school by bus and it's fun because we always have a topic to talk about no matter if it is interesting or not" was what one bus-rider had to say about their daily bus rides.

"I trust CAC with my children every day. I can rely on them to ensure my children get home safely by the bus,” explained a parent.

Time Commuting Around Cairo is Efficient with CAC buses.

CAC serves students residing all over Cairo in Maadi, Zamalek, Mohandeseen, Dokki, Heliopolis, Nasr City, and New Cairo. After the enhanced road infrastructure in Cairo over the past few years, and coupled with a continuous study by the CAC Motor Pool Department of the best routes to take in light of daily street needs and occurrences, the time consumed to take students to and from CAC is not long. A given route such as the New Cairo bus route takes less than 40 minutes.

"I come by bus every morning from New Cairo and it's really fun because I get to spend time with my friends on the bus and talk about things before school starts. It's a really nice way to spend your day"  added another student.

School buses are a perfectly safe and fun way to get to school.

Our CAC bus monitors and drivers are trained professionals who put a lot of effort and passion into their careers. All school bus drivers undergo background checks, take part in continued training, and are required to pass road driving tests. It’s worth noting that all CAC buses are GPS-tracked for safety reasons. Moreover, bus monitors and drivers are required to provide constant reporting that is also shared with Elementary School, Middle School, and High School divisions.

Bus commute is in line with our going green initiative.

Let’s not forget that CAC buses are environment-friendly and contribute to reduced road traffic. Every individual school bus replaces around 36 cars on the road, which collectively keeps 17 million cars off the road every day. This means a lot less traffic on the road in the mornings and afternoons, so everyone has a safer and easier commute! Congestion around and in school zones is a problem in most school districts; this problem can be eliminated the more students ride their school buses.

In conclusion, riding the CAC school bus isn't just about transportation convenience. It is about making a positive impact on children's lives by helping them socialize, interact and create life-long memories and lasting friendships.
