CAC Teams Shine at ISST Tournaments

Congratulations to all CAC athletes who competed in last weekend’s ISST tournaments. CAC’s volleyball, soccer and X-Country teams attended tournaments across Europe, competing with the likes of American School of London, International School of Brussels, Frankfurt International School and the American School of Paris.

Three cheers for the CAC Cross Country team, who competed with grace and style as they placed fifth overall as a team. Boys varsity placed second and junior boys third. In the boys varsity, Murad took silver with Ben placing in the top ten. Caleb led the junior boys with a second place finish.

Three Cheers also for the Boys Varsity Volleyball team, making their first appearance in Division 1 after a few years in Div II. The boys took Bronze, with an impressive win in 5 sets over AS London. The gym felt like ‘home’ with the Frankfurt and TASIS teams cheering for CAC, and rushing the court to celebrate their victory.

New League Meetings after Thanksgiving

CAC will be visited by a representative of the new European league, ISSC, on Nov 27. All meetings will be on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

Scheduled meetings/ISSC presentations with Tom Archer from the British School of The Netherlands:

  • 8:00-8:45 am - Parent meeting- in room MS115

Tom has been working with the Athletic Directors and administrators of some of the current ISST schools and other known schools to create a new league for 2019-2020 and beyond. The new league is named ISSC. CAC is one of the involved ISST schools with interest in the possibilities that this new league presents. Tom will review the process to date in forming the new league, a tentative event table for 2019-2020, the participating schools, the season schedule for ISSC, and other points. We look forward to meeting with CAC community stakeholders on November 27, 2018.
