PTO Book Fair

A great week at the PTO Book fair. Thanks to the many PTO parents who volunteered time, helped organize, and who spoke to vendors, etc. The fair was bustling at many points during the week and many happy shoppers went home with some vacation reading.

Happy shoppers at the Book Fair!

Support the Performing Arts at CAC

'Tis the Season to be Giving! and what better way to give than to commemorate someone special on a theatre seat name plate? Dedicate a plaque to your student(s), family, or even a favorite teacher. Name plates live on in perpetuity and years from now, when alumni return, their name plates will bring back many memories. Scan the QR code to fill out your order in time for the holidays.

League Latest--Decision Reached

The CAC Board of Trustees voted during the past week to approve the Administration’s recommendation that CAC will join, for 2019-20, the new European sports league ISAA (the International Schools Athletics Association). The process to arrive at this decision was long and involved, and there were many options explored, research conducted, athlete performances compared, and much time spent in meetings and discussions. The overwhelming consensus, after researching thoroughly both the MESAC and ISAA options, was to hook our wagon to the new league and do our best to support its success in its first year and beyond. I would like to thank all community members who contributed their views, shared their time, and who worked to ensure we were making the best decision about what is best for CAC Students and the CAC community into the future.

  • Also on sale in the store are hand-painted pottery pieces and batik textiles raising money for local charities.

  • We will remain open for our regular hours throughout the last week of school this semester. Come get your last-minute gifts!

  • Holiday travel is a great time to take photos in CAC regalia. Get some spirit wear and send us your photos wearing it to enter this year’s Soar Like an Eagle contest!

Spirit Cafe

After a festive week offering treats every day at the Book Fair, the cafe will be closed for the remainder of the semester. Happy holidays everyone!

CAC Holiday Tree

Days are getting shorter, the nights are longer and there is that unmistakable chill in the air. The season of giving is upon us! As Eagles “we come from many places, and we have a lot to give”, so Booster Club is inviting everyone to get into the spirit of the season!

Two collection boxes sit by the tree, one for donations of new school and art supplies, and another for donations of new socks. Your generosity will go a long way in putting smiles on children’s faces. Drop your gifts (unwrapped) in these boxes beginning Wednesday, Dec. 12 until Dec.19.

Let’s come together as a community to help spread goodwill within and beyond our CAC walls! Happy holidays to all!
