PreK-Kinder Open House

College News:

Santa Claus was good to several of our seniors during the winter break, tucking 37 acceptances into the stockings of 21 seniors. Way to go, Eagles! There will be more admissions coming during Jan, Feb, and March, with the first week of April the traditional week for notification from US colleges about regular admissions (most of our applications are on the ‘regular’ time table).

Notable statistics about the Class of ‘19 so far…:

  • 96 offers have been extended to the Class of 2019

  • These offers have come from 79 unique universities in 7 different countries.

  • 45/83 of our seniors have received an offer (54%)

  • 10  of these students have received an offer from their 1st Choice

Maker Day - Supplies Needed!

Our next MS Maker Day is coming up on Sunday, Jan. 27th.  The theme this time is Sustainability and Recyclability. Several of our planned sessions will require clean, used items as building materials.  Please donate any of the following items clean, in the bin by the front plaza at CAC.  Thank you!

* Bottles (water, soda, etc.)

* Nespresso cartridges/pods

* Pringles cans

* Balls and other sports equipment

* Working or not, tech: phones, radios, small appliances, players


CAC Board Monthly Meeting/Information Session

The Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 30 at 6 PM in MS 115.  Monthly Board meetings are open to members of the CAC community.   The Board will hold its second Information Session of the year the following morning, Thursday, January 31 at 8 AM, also in MS 115.  The Information Session is an opportunity for the Board to interact with the community in an informal setting, update the community on Board goals, issue of interest to the community and respond to questions.


Run for the CAC School Board!

Parents, this is your chance to make a lasting, positiveimpact on CAC…. The CAC Board of Trustees seeks nominations to fill two elected Community Representative spots for a two-year term, from 2019-2021. You must be able to serve both years. We urge all interested parents to learn more about the work of the Board.

CAC Core Values Award Nominees Sought

The CAC Board is seeking nominations for the annual CAC Core Values Award. This award is annually given to a CAC parent who has contributed to the community in ways above and beyond through volunteer efforts and/or other contributions. PTO Bollywood Gala on Feb 1

Thank you to all who have purchased tickets to the CAC Bollywood Gala. Next week tickets will be available for pick-up at the Spirit Store daily from 3-4pm.
