MS Science Teacher

HS Mathematics (IB & AP)
Cairo American College is seeking a collaborative and innovative teacher of High School Mathematics to join our exceptional and diverse team here in Cairo. The HS math courses are structured around an integrated math framework leading to the IBDP AI SL and AA SL / HL courses in Grades 11 & 12. Next year we are exploring adding an AP math class to our course offerings. We celebrate the beauty of mathematics, inspiring students to make sense of the fascinating elements of content knowledge, while promoting perseverance and intellectual risk taking. Research-based lesson design and effective mathematics teaching practices are embedded in the curriculum through an intentional balance of teacher-directed and inquiry-based approaches. We are seeking an educator who will empower students to solve problems independently and collaboratively while supporting their learning through differentiation, enrichment and instruction as needed. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the IB, AP and teaching experience in an American international school setting.
