Omar Allam,  Ernst & Young, Parthenon (EYP) Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

Omar Allam, an alumnus of Cairo American College, visited the school to offer valuable advice to the students. He highlighted the importance of the Disruptive Innovation Technology course (DIT) that will teach them about the latest advancements in technology, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR). Allam explained that knowing about these emerging technologies is crucial in order to develop responsible and ethical applications for tackling global economic and social injustices. Mastering complex problem-solving and creative capacities with the DIT course will help students to think entrepreneurially and create meaningful progress. At the end of his visit, Allam urged the students to use their knowledge to strive for a better future.
We are grateful to Omar for his expertise and time and look forward to a bright future aided by more technological innovations.

Ambassador Jonathan Cohen visit to CAC

As part of the Model United Nations event held at CAC, Ambassador Jonathan Cohen visited our school and spoke to our students about his experiences in diplomacy and international relations. Ambassador Cohen is a career diplomat who has served in various capacities in the United States Department of State, including as Deputy Representative to the United Nations and as the United States Ambassador to Egypt. During his visit, Ambassador Cohen shared his insights into the workings of international diplomacy and the importance of effective communication and negotiation in resolving conflicts. He also answered students' questions about the role of the United States in the world and the challenges and opportunities facing the international community today. His speech was inspiring and thought-provoking, and our students left the event with a deeper understanding of the complexities of global politics and the possibilities for positive change through diplomacy. We are grateful to Ambassador Cohen for taking the time to visit CAC and for sharing his knowledge and experience with our students.

Jaylen Brown, an NBA player for the Boston Celtics, visited CAC to speak to our students about the importance of education, perseverance, and social justice. He shared his personal journey from growing up in rural Georgia to becoming a standout player at the University of California, Berkeley, and eventually a first-round draft pick in the NBA. Beyond his basketball career, Brown is also an advocate for social justice and racial equality. He has been involved in numerous community initiatives.

During his visit to CAC, Jaylen Brown not only spoke to our students but also played basketball with them. It was a thrilling experience for our students to play alongside a professional athlete and learn from him firsthand. Brown shared tips and tricks on the court, emphasizing the importance of practice, teamwork, and discipline. His presence on campus was a reminder of the power of hard work and dedication in achieving one's goals. Our students were grateful for the opportunity to meet and learn from Jaylen Brown, and his visit left a lasting impression on our school community. We are thankful to Brown for taking the time to visit CAC and for inspiring our students to pursue their passions with commitment and enthusiasm.
