HS Social Studies / Economics Teacher

Cairo American College is seeking an experienced and collaborative teacher of social studies to join our exceptional and diverse team. Experience and knowledge of the IBDP and AP, as well as experience of teaching in an American international school setting, is highly beneficial. The social studies team embraces the Harkness methodology of discussion-based learning and our recently renovated, large classrooms are equipped with Harkness tables for this purpose. The department offers a wide variety of social studies courses including: World Cultures and Societies, Modern World History, US History, Business, AP Psychology and IBDP History, IBDP Economics and IBDP Global Politics.
