CACDesignTech3An open format class covering six disciplines from which students choose to guide their own learning.  Centering the course are core concepts and skills of design technology, such as sketching, using a design process, iterating, and modeling.  Students design projects within Graphic Design, Electronics, Video Production, Woodworking, Computer-Aided-Design and -Manufacture, and Coding.  Within each discipline, fundamental knowledge and skills are emphasized prior to allowing students more control over their own projects.  Throughout the course, students are guided to manage their own learning, process, and projects within a framework that reflects professional practice of the discipline.
